Three Evenings of Easter Bible Readings

St James Church in Lind Street, Ryde is staging 3 evenings of Easter Bible Readings
again this year, on 17th, 18th & 19th March
n the main church starting at 7.30pm on each evening.

Jonathan Fletcher from Emmanuel Church in Wimbledon will be speaking from John's Gospel on "The Cross", with the aim being to deepen our love and understanding of the cross of Christ, and to show how the story of this 2000 year old event is still as relevant today as it was then.

All Island Pentecost Celebration

Plans are proceeding well for this exciting event
on Sunday 11th May 2008
at Newport (St George's Park) Football ground
2.00 pm - 6.30 pm

A creative afternoon programme including music, song, drama, worship and interviews
on a specially contructed 48ft stage
An extensive Tented Exhibition of Island Christian Projects, Organisation and Businesses.

This is an opportunity for the whole Church of the Isle of Wight to gather and celebrate our
richness and diversity in a festival style event.

Gazebos
Christian Organisations, Projects and Initiatives as well as Christian Businesses are invited
to reserve a free pitch for a standard 10ft x 10ft Gazebo in order to display their activities.
