Without this commitment to supply a foundation the Lord's Commission Matt 28 vv19 & 20 would be severely compromised. On the home front, where a new positive climate of faith in the Bible is vital the Society has taken a number of initiatives. The recent Greater Manchester Campaign is typical. Expansion into organisation of the three national Christian Resources Exhibitions has followed. Parliament now has a permanent Bible Society Representative in Andrew Lendrum.
