Our purpose is to see Churches and individual members develop a vision for mission and service to the Island as a whole, while continuing to seek ways of serving their local community. As part of that mission we will seek to develop opportunities to represent the concerns of evangelical Christians with regard to social ethical and religious issues.
We desire to be a means whereby evangelical Christians, many of whom are in lonely or isolated situations, can find encouragement, support and a sense of belonging.
In encouraging co-operation and co-ordination between the many organisations that exist on the Island, we will seek to promote a greater understanding and acceptance of our differing perspectives.
We recognise that there is also a need to maintain an openness to Christians from "Non Evangelical" traditions, seeking opportunity to work together for the good of our community and world.
